Join Us – As an Instructor
No previous instructor experience is required. We will provide you
with the training. Requirements for becoming and instructor:
- Strong interest in helping others
- Be able to ski intermediate (blue) trails
- Commitment to most days of the program:
(Saturday’s, 9:00am – 12:00PM, Jan 2nd – Feb 28th) - Provide own transportation to Swain Ski Center
- Knowledge of disabilities not required but helpful
- Interest in enhancing skiing and teaching skills
- Positive interest in capabilities not disabilities
- Having fun and making new friends!
Instructor Registration
Student enrollment is dependent upon how many instructors we have volunteering for this program, so your support and timely response is appreciated by all!
Registration for the SSA Program is generally sent out to individuals who have expressed an interest in late October/early November. To add your name to the mailing list, contact Tina Bennett at CP Rochester.
